Leadership growth continues for Five-S with a new Vice President of Risk Management.
We are pleased to announce the appointment of Chris Caswell as Vice President of Risk Management. As Vice President of Risk Management and General Counsel, Chris will lead the company’s legal and risk functions with a proactive approach focused on early-stage project involvement, contract clarity, and operational alignment. With his extensive litigation background, he aims to position Five-S Group to identify and mitigate legal risks before they result in costly disputes, while strengthening internal processes to support growth and resilience.
This addition reflects our commitment to strengthening our risk management capabilities and building a sustainable future for our company, clients, and employees. The department under Chris Caswell’s direction will include an experienced team of contract managers, a commercial insurance coordinator, and team members in charge of managing safety compliance.
Chris Caswell
A native of Eunice, Louisiana, Chris earned a Bachelor’s Degree in Finance from Louisiana State University after spending two years playing baseball for the Ragin’ Cajuns at the University of Louisiana at Lafayette under the late Coach Tony Robichaux. He later received his Juris Doctor from LSU’s Paul M. Hebert Law Center.
Chris began practicing at Taylor, Wellons, Politz & Duhe, a regional firm spanning the Gulf Coast. There, he spent 13 years as a litigator, including seven years as a partner. His practice spanned a wide range of disputes, including construction, transportation, insurance defense, and complex commercial litigation. He brings deep expertise in contract negotiation, insurance coverage, and litigation strategy, and is admitted to practice in all Louisiana state and federal courts.
Outside of work, Chris enjoys spending time with his wife, Chelsea, and their two sons, Connor and Landon.
