About Our Commitment to Safety
Our custom designed employee onboarding program prepares all of our new employees to abide by the strict but necessary safety measures we take as company. Our program was built by the Alliance Safety Council - one of the nation’s largest workplace safety training councils.
At Five-S, job-specific safety plans are put into place well before a project begins. Prior to starting work on a project, our SSHE Manager, Project Manager and Superintendents work together to account for the conditions and hazards present at each site. Once the project begins, the SSHE Manager makes frequent jobsite visits to monitor and consult with on-site supervision to further assess the conditions and hazards of the jobsite.
Five-S Group’s paramount goal is every employee home, safely, every day. Our full-time SSHE Manager oversees all training, hazard recognition programs, Job Loss Analysis (JLA) implementation, and on-site orientations. All Five-S employees are aware of current and evolving safety requirements and trainings. All Five-S site management personnel are certified in First Aid and CPR. We keep safety at the core of our work and at the forefront of every project.
