History
Five-S Group literally grew out of the earth in the Acadiana region of south Louisiana, where its founding owner, Andre Smith, farmed rice and crawfish alongside his three brothers under the guidance of their father. The five Smiths are the textbook definition of a family instilled with values such as strong morals, hard work, and unwavering loyalty. With roots in farming and a childhood shaped by rural responsibilities and family leadership, those early experiences and lessons naturally evolved over the years into a new construction business now known as Five-S Group.
Today, Five-S Group services the entire Gulf South United States as a nationally ranked specialty contractor for heavy civil construction, mass material supply, marine construction, and transportation and logistics. Five-S strives to serve as a leader of construction in critical energy and infrastructure projects, where we apply our innovation, experience, and expertise to deliver successful projects for our clients. Safety is our number one core value from the pre-construction phases to the execution phase and is never compromised.
